Meet Amy
Founder of The Secret Escape
Amy has been in a beauty therapist for 13 years now, her career started straight from school when she started her level 2 in beauty therapy and nail services. Amy shortly gained a position as an apprentice for a salon and absolutely feel in love with salon life! Whilst working for the Salon Amy also completed her NVQ level 3 and has since gained over 10 diplomas.
Amy’s experience and qualifications were key in her next move, starting her own business in 2013, The Secret Escape in Chelmsford city centre. During the 9 successful years trading from here The Secret Escape was featured as the salon in the spotlight in 'Scratch' magazine and was also featured in British 'Vogue' magazine. Amy did further training with Crystal clear, Nouveau Lashes and with one of the leading artists in Semi permanent make up and has built up a large clientele.
It was in January 2023 that Amy's visions became reality when she created The Secret Escape face & body in Maldon. A welcoming and tranquil clinic offering all the existing loved treatments plus a range of specialised Facial treatments.
